Paste your bill of materials. We check every part against current distributor lifecycle data and show you what is obsolete, end-of-life, or no longer recommended for new designs — before your contract manufacturer tells you they cannot source it.
No account, no card, no email address. Your list is not stored — it exists only for as long as the page takes to load.
01 — Why this exists
A part on your board goes end-of-life and nobody tells you, because the notice goes to whoever bought the reel, not to whoever designed the board. You find out months later, when your CM cannot source it and the fix is a respin.
The tools built for this — SiliconExpert, Accuris, Z2Data — are enterprise supply-chain platforms priced for companies with a procurement department. The one self-serve competitor we found starts at $149 a month. If you are a five-person hardware team, nobody is selling to you.
So this is free. It is a lookup, not a service, and it costs almost nothing to run — there is no subscription to sell you and no upsell coming.
02 — What it does
Paste a column from any BOM export. Designators, quantities and footprints are ignored — we key on the manufacturer part number.
Live lookup against DigiKey's catalogue. Nothing is cached, so what you see is what they list right now.
Obsolete End of life Not for new designs Active
Where the manufacturer has stated one, with a link to the product page so you can buy or find an alternate.
03 — What it is not
Read this before you rely on it. We would rather be useful once than trusted wrongly.
This is a snapshot. We do not watch your BOM over time, and we will never email you — there is no list to join and no alert to miss.
No account, no database, no log of your parts. We are not permitted to build one from this data, and we have not.
Of 621,909 parts that went end-of-life in 2025, 52% carried no manufacturer change notice at all — Z2Data, March 2026. A clean result here is not a promise.
We report what a distributor lists and link it. Confirm against the manufacturer's own notice before committing to a last-time-buy or a redesign.
